Description

This long stretch of trail travels primarily through land owned by the Metropolitan District Commission (MDC) and has many miles of loop trails around the reservoirs. Also featured is Talcott Mountain State Park which is home to the historic Heublein Tower. Views from Talcott Mountain expand out over the beautiful Farmington River valley. Enjoy walking beside the reservoir, following the traprock ledges and learning a bit of history at Heublein Tower, a popular spot for leaf peeping in the fall.
