This site is dedicated to long-time trail maintainer, Harold Akey. The site lies in a shaded, wooded spot of the trail. You are welcome to pitch a tent on the platform or hang a hammock in one of the many good spots around the site. The land is managed by Peckham Industries

One tent platform available and multiple hammock spots. Water is available opposite the site, down the embankment.
