This small shelter is located just south of Rt 68 in Durham on CT NET: Section 10. It offers a nice place to rest for the evening.
Graciously run by a neighboring family, this trailside amenity offers the following:
- Space for 2-3 overnight hikers.
- Absolutely no fires.
- No potable water on site, but the hosts may let you fill up at their hose.
- First-come, first-serve basis (no reservations required)
