CT NET: Section 12

Mt Higby is a key destination on this trail section. The rocky outcrops and spires are breathtaking any season. Follow the trail up to Preston’s Notch and enjoy this wonderful wooded ridge walk. Views expand westward toward Hubbard Park in Meriden and beyond. The trail also features a side trail to Middletown’s Tynan Park and a pleasant walk along the shore of Highland Pond (managed by the Middlesex Land Trust).
