CT NET: Section 1

Beginning at the NET’s eastern terminus of the Mattabesett Trail, this section of trail covers moderate terrain, crosses over several streams, and offers some fine views. Rock Pile Cave is a unique point of interest. The overlook above Twin Reservoirs has excellent views to the west. There are opportunities for different hike lengths with the Reservoir Loop Trail.
