Description

Calling all hiking and history enthusiasts! This is the hike for you. Travel past cascading streams, a cave once inhabited by a legendary hermit, and a scenic vista. The cave is nestled under an overhang in a cliff face and is said to have been the home of John Smith, a Scottish immigrant from 1867-1899. This 5 mile loop is lightly trafficked and is good for casual hikers, but you can easily take advantage of nearby trails if you’re looking for more of a challenge.
